Alexander Forbes Group & Technology Services (Pty) Ltd is looking for a Support Administrator for their AFI Support Department. The successful candidate will form part of the AFI IT team and will be instrumental in supporting the in-house applications. The successful candidate will be expected to assist with emergency or priority activities from time to time.
Requirements
•Matric
•Insurance certificate or equivalent an advantage •Testing qualification an advantage
•Development qualification an advantage
•Business Analyst Diploma an advantage
EXPERIENCE:
•1 years support experience in the Short Term Insurance Industry.
•SQL experience essential Strong Excel, Word and Power Point Skills essential
•Sound financial experience within the support environment essential
•Experience working with system application securities is essential
•Experience supporting Project Managers, Business Analysts, Testers, Developers and Business
•Users will carry a large weight when assessing candidates.
•Experience managing data and processes on Helpdesk logging systems essential
Job Description
The successful candidate will be required to show professional competence and have the capacity to perform a professional and technical function to the required standards, while remaining abreast of developments in the Insurance and IT industries continuously improving and expanding their own knowledge and skill.
